Jazz is live music that responds to what's happening in the room. The musicians listen to the mood, the energy of the guests, and the dynamics of the space — and play accordingly. It's not a "background playlist" — it's something built in real time that feels the moment.

At a private event we usually cover the reception, and sometimes continue through the meal until the DJ/program starts. At home (yard/living room) we adapt the timing to the flow of the evening. At a business event we work to the goal: cocktail hour, networking, a launch, or a conference — and we adjust the energy and volume accordingly.

Flexible, based on what suits you: a reception (usually around an hour to an hour and a half), continuing through the meal/evening, or short sets throughout the event. We build the plan together based on your needs and budget.
Live music plus amplification suited to background music and receptions, and usually a microphone for speeches as well. For a large event or complex space, we connect to the venue's system or add extra sound equipment as needed (coordinated in advance).

For a trio, a minimum of about 2.00x1.50 m (roughly 6.5x5 ft) is recommended. A defined corner or small stage is ideal — well-lit, accessible, and not on the path servers and guests use to pass through.
Yes. There's usually a microphone available for speeches (and we'll confirm everything's arranged in advance according to the venue's setup).
We can expand the ensemble, tailor the repertoire, and work in special requests. And if one of the guests plays an instrument and wants to join in for a song — happy to, with coordination and good taste.
